A Call To Graduate
By: Donnae C., Age 11, America SCORES St. Louis
Before you leave
I need you to believe
The road to success
Is filled with knowledge
Take off like an airplane
Don’t ever be ashamed
Soar through the sky like a bird
Write like a tiger leaping through the jungle
Always look above
Don’t ever give up
Reach for the stars
Let your mind lead you to success for the best
Graduating is what’s right
Because then your future will be very, very bright
Bright like the sunset
Bright like a light bulb
But still you should never fight
And you should always be polite
Your mind is a race car at the finish line
You’re a word wall being read
Graduate from college
And increase your knowledge
Don’t ever slow down
Be an American Graduate
